Guide for the shared security diagnosis of a school (DGES - Eduscol – National Education)
The purpose of this guide is to raise the awareness of school teams in certain sensitive aspects associated with the prevention of violence and incivilities in order to establish a shared security diagnosis.
Description
The first part of this guide presents the observations that should be made by the heads of institution and their teams in conjunction with the “police – gendarmerie correspondent for school security” for the institution in question.
It provides a method for a field study of the violence factors within the institution as well as of the human and technical security resources.
It subsequently presents a qualitative assessment by the head of the institution and the school’s security correspondent, in the form of a table (incidents, complaints, intervention, etc.).
The second part presents the guide for the establishment of an internal security diagnosis of the school.
Finally, this guide presents the table of conclusions of the head of the institution (which reiterates the action priorities with regard to the prevention of incivilities and violence in school as well as the expected results).
