This circular aims at promoting social mix, or “busing”, in voluntary municipalities.
This experiment will be implemented over 3 years as of the beginning of the 2008 school year.
Description
As part of the Espoir banlieues (Suburban hope) plan, this measure should enable the children concerned to discover a new studying environment in order to increase their chances of success before entering collège.
First of all, this document lists the system eligibility criteria, site selection procedures and experiment protocol. The educational teams and families concerned will be informed so as to incite support for this project.
This document concludes by outlining the budget forecast (transport, places of residence, food services) and listing those in charge of monitoring this experiment.
