Nominations Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize 2012 extended to 31 May 2011

The Lee Yuan Kew City Prize is a biennial international award to recognise individuals and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to the creation of vibrant, liveable and sustainable urban communities around the world.

Description

Nominations are open to all individuals and organisations that have demonstrated key leadership roles in the fields of:

  • Urban planning projects;
  • Urban policies and programmes;
  • Urban management;
  • Application of technology to urban solutions.


The Lee Yuan Kew City Prize will be awarded at the Lee Kuan Yew Prize Award Ceremony and Banquet during the World Cities Summit 2010. It consists of a certificate, a gold medallion and a cash prize of $300,000.

Nomination for the 2012 prize is now open, and will close on 31 May 2011.
