The promotion of sustainable urban development and the creation of long lasting partnerships
The kick-off meeting in Sofia on 17-18 November marked an important moment for the URBAN-NEXUS project, shifting attention from the start-up phase towards the projects’ true content: the promotion of sustainable urban development and the creation of long lasting partnerships between key stakeholders.
Under 'Reference material' you will find one document with an overall impression of the two days. During the meeting, a lot of valuable input was gained for the various themes that URBAN-NEXUS focuses on. Therefore, another document is attached that captured this input and outlines the future scope and content of these themes.
Next URBAN-NEXUS meeting
We would like to thank all participants for their interest and
input and their contribution for making the URBAN-NEXUS kick-off
event a success! For those not present, not to worry, there will be
many URBAN-NEXUS events organised the coming years. We hope to see
you all of you in a future URBAN-NEXUS event. The next meeting will
be the Dialogue Café on the theme of Urban Climate Resilience,
which will take place in Glasgow on 29 and 30 May 2012. Save the
