Residential Development Areas in Spain 2011

"Residential Development Areas in Spain 2011. Study on Current Status of Development Areas of Sites with high suitability for building included in the Urban Information System (SIU)" is a study that pays special attention to key development areas or sites for residential use contained in the database of the Urban Information System (SIU) of the Ministry of Public Works, in order, first, to highlight the potential of housing that is derived from the current planning and secondly, to provide basic data on these areas and sectors as well as those relating to urban development and building process.

In order to narrow the scope, the study selects those areas of development of municipalities currently covered by the SIU with an expected number of homes less than 1,000 units and whose degree of building is less than 70 percent according to the SIU database.

From each of the municipalities included, the study provides a summary sheet that shows information from both the municipality itself, as all development areas that met the two conditions mentioned above, each tab consists of three blocks: urban land classes, development land areas and major not built residential developments.
