Search possibilities To enable an easy exchange of high quality knowledge, the EUKN has developed
a decentralised structure based on a Central Search Portal and National Focal
Points. Each participating country will appoint its own largely autonomous
National Focal Point, which will then be responsible for the collection and
dissemination of urban knowledge at a national level. National, regional and
local partners will provide knowledge at various governmental and administrative
levels in many cases retaining its 'national' character which will be validated
in line with specified standards and criteria. Using the Central Search Portal,
both users and providers in all participating countries will then have multiple
layer / multiple site access to a huge wealth of specialised knowledge and
experience.
How to search the European Urban Knowledge Network?
The EUKN offers two search options. The first option is to search by theme.
By selecting the theme of choice from a list of relevant European urban policy
issues you will quickly find a comprehensive list of available knowledge in the
EUKN. The second option is to enter key words in the Search box on the home page
and to click on the Search button. This will take you to the Results page where
you can search within your results. This second option also offers an advanced
search option. The advanced search option allows you to use a number of search
filters.
