European Neighbours' Day - EU, 30 May 2006 30-05-2006 Introduction The event can help recreate social link, promote positive values among
inhabitants and make the city a more serene, human and fraternal place to live.
Description
European Neighbours' Day is an event which occurs every year on the last
Tuesday of May. The participating cities receive a communication kit to promote
the party and rouse people's interest. Then, it is up to each group of citizens
to act and organize their own party. Through the exchanges among European
residents, the sharing of experiences and good practices, this event gives to
citizens the opportunity to interact and to join in the construction of a Europe
ever closer and more human.
