Forum for local and regional authorities' media – Brussels, 13 June 2006 13-06-2006 Introduction In the “Debate Europe: Going Local” initiative, the Committee of the Regions
(CoR) and the European Commission will host this workshop for directors of
communication and editors of local and regional authority publications. The
forum focuses on ‘decentralised communication' – with the aim of ensuring that
Europe better serves the needs of media in its regions and cities.
Description
The CoR’s Debate Europe: Going Local initiative was launched in response to
the Commission's Plan D for Democracy, Dialogue and Debate.
