9th International Congress of Educating Cities - Lyon, 14-17 September 2006

Introduction
From 14-17 September the International Congress of Educating Cities organises its 9th annual conference.
Description
This 9th IAEC conference will enable participants to delve in greater depth into the role of co-education in all cities across the world. The City of Lyon will host the 9th International Congress of Educating Cities with the theme: " People's Place in the City". This theme will be organised around four focal areas:
  • Axe A - Formal and informal lifelong education.
  • Axe B - Human relations in the City: living together, democracy and equality.
  • Axe C - Urban spaces and social times: what is at stake?
  • Axe D - Cooperation and sharing objectives among cities.
