IMAGE Project Residential Course – Delft, 11-15 September 2006
11-09-2006

Introduction
The IMAGE Project invites 50 young professionals for a week of working as part of an international team of regeneration specialists. Their task will be to improve the image of a neighbourhood in Delft. The results of the participants’ work will be used in the regeneration project of this neighbourhood.
Description
The IMAGE Project is a transnational programme, exploring and sharing lessons across North West Europe on the effect of enhancing the image of high-rise housing estates on the overall regeneration of neighbourhoods and cities. The three-year programme is funded by the INTERREG IIIB Community Initiative of the European Regional Development Fund. The project was launched in November 2004.
Up to 50 young professionals will take part in the residential course from many different countries and a wide range of disciplines. Participants should work in or be interested in urban regeneration, with around three to five years practical experience. You may work in a public institution, private business or a non-governmental organisation (e.g. local development agency, community support organisation, housing corporation), or a university or research centre.
