European Congress and Exhibition for Infrastructure Projects– Hannover, 12-14 September 2006 12-09-2006 Introduction At the exhibition grounds in Hannover from 12-14 September 2006, the
spotlight will be on European and German infrastructure projects, new solutions
and financing models to help regional and municipal authorities meet the latest
infrastructure challenges. “Public Infrastructure 2006” is a congress and a
trade fair on planning, financing, development, maintenance and operation of
public buildings, traffic systems and waste disposal systems.
Description
Over one hundred representatives from European and German politics as well as
decision-makers from the world of commerce are to speak and discuss in eighteen
panels dealing with strategic and operative questions on financing and
maintenance of public infrastructure and Public Private Partnerships (PPP).
Four hundred decision makers and representatives from municipal authorities,
from the construction, operating and financing sectors and from national and
international politics are already registered as participants. Top-ranking
delegations from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Serbia and Bulgaria
take part with concrete cooperation projects.
Public Infrastructure 2006 is the first event of the newly established
“Public Infrastructure”, a knowledge-sharing and contact platform for the public
