Places’. An exhibition, a general plenary programme and six half day sessions on
selected themes make up the format of the conference.
Description
The six sessions will deal with the following issues:
Now being held for the third time, Cityscape is the UK’s definitive event for
those involved in urban design and development and the management and
maintenance of the public realm. Cityscape is the only event in the UK which
brings together the wide range of professionals from all sectors who have a role
in ‘place-making’ and the revitalising of the public realm.
The Cityscape themes are about quality urban design, supporting communities
that are well connected to the transport system in a thriving local economy with
quality services on hand. They are also about well designed open spaces,
sensitive to the environment, well maintained and safe to use.
Citybuild takes place at the same time as four other events, each one
focusing on a key theme and providing a dedicated conference, series of seminars
and an exhibition:
Particularly Ecobuild and Regenex are of interest to urban professionals as
well and both events can be found on the EUKN website (see links below).
