It is is aimed at everyone involved in the creation and delivery of policy and regulations, and any aspect of architecture and design, engineering, planning, surveying, development and construction. For 2007, the conference is titled ‘Making Sustainable Construction Happen’, and its focus is on bringing about change in design and construction.
Description
Ecobuld has an extensive seminar programme which provides hands-on advice and tackles the practicalities involved in turning the sustainable vision into reality. From ‘Living Roofs’ to ‘Intelligent Buildings’, the Ecobuild seminar programme provides in-depth learning and practical solutions to complement the conference themes. Ecobuild also offers an exhibition comprehensive showcase of sustainable design and construction products and services.
Ecobuild takes place at the same time as four other events, each one focusing on a key theme and each providing a dedicated conference, series of seminars and an exhibition:
  • Cityscape – place-making and the refurbishment of the public realm
  • Regenex – regeneration and its impact on urban construction and social policy
  • Building for Health – planning, design, construction and management of healthcare facilities
  • Futurebuild – more efficient and effective ways of building
Particularly Regenex and Cityscape are of interest to urban professionals as well and both events can be found on the EUKN website (see links below).
