Introduction
‘Heritage, Housing and Home’ is one of the three colloquia organised by the 'Valuing the Historic Environment' research cluster hosted by the University of Leicester’s Department of Museum Studies. 'Valuing the Historic Environment' is a cross disciplinary research cluster for the discussion of frameworks of value in relation to the preservation of historic environments.
Description
The colloquium focuses on ‘Heritage, Housing and Home’ and involves a morning of presentations consisting of two overview keynote presentations, 2-3 case-study presentations, and an afternoon of focused discussion in small groups.
Participants can apply to attend the colloquium but places are limited. Applications to attend should include a 100-word statement of how the applicants’ research or work will enable them to make a significant contribution to debate in the colloquium.
