Knowledge for regional innovation – Brussels, 10-11 May 2007 10-05-2007 Introduction The conference “Knowledge for regional innovation – towards regions for
economic change” is organised by the European Regions Knowledge based Innovation
Network (ERIK). 51 European regions participate in the network. At the
conference the role of regions in promoting economic growth through innovation,
entrepreneurship and the growth of the knowledge economy will be discussed.
Description
The plenary session "Knowledge for Regional Innovation" will bring together
representatives from the three sides of the "triple helix" of innovation policy:
the world of research, enterprise and public government.
