European Conference on Mobility Management – Lund, 9-11 May 2007
09-05-2007

Introduction
The future is uncertain but some things are clear. Climate change has started to affect us and oil will be a scarce commodity in the future. More and more people need to commute over longer distances in their daily lives. The inactivity, noise pollution and emissions caused by traffic influence our health and wellbeing.
Description
Is it possible to predict future challenges today? If so, is it possible to make the right decisions and choose a path of action for tomorrow?
ECOMM 2007 aims to support and generate the next steps that will really apply the concepts of Mobility Managements to their fullest potential. It will be an action orientated event focusing on nine major themes:
  • Our future health
  • Car use in the mobility culture of the future
  • Growing regions and sustainable city structure
  • Meeting the needs of a shifting demographic
  • Workplace travel
  • Decision making & control measures
  • Research & real world
  • Sustainable mobility as a high status life style
  • Finding new mobility management pioneers
