OECD Forum 2007 – Innovation, Growth and Equity – Paris, 14-15 May 2007 14-05-2007 Introduction The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) brings
together business and labour leaders, civil society personalities, government
ministers and leaders of international organisations to discuss pressing issues
on the international agenda. This year the focus is on innovation, growth and
equity. The Forum takes place in conjunction with the annual OECD Ministerial
summit.
Description
At the Forum, participants will discuss three themes:
1. Innovation and growth - How to stimulate innovation as a driver of
productivity and competitiveness?

2. Sharing the benefits of globalisation - How to maximise citizens'
participation in and benefits from globalisation?

3. Strengthening the multilateral system - How to restore confidence in the
multilateral system, which has been a critical driver of peace, prosperity and
poverty reduction?

The OECD Forum 2006 attracted approximately 1400 participants from 69
countries, including 140 journalists. A list of confirmed speakers can be found
