Introduction
The UITP World Congress 2007 focuses on the strong and reciprocal link between public transport and the architecture of cities and regions. Cities and regions can only be sustainable if they have dynamic and efficient public transport systems. Public transport systems can only be dynamic and efficient if they are fully integrated with urban policies.
Description
The conference brings together more than 2000 delegates from 90 countries worldwide. Speakers and workshop leaders include CEO/general managers, key urban decision makers and mayors, heads of department and project managers. The UITP World Congress is a unique networking place for all mobility and urban professionals.
Held in conjunction with the Congress is the UITP Mobility & City Transport Exhibition, long established as the 'must attend' in the international public transport and collective mobility market. It is a unique platform to discover the latest technical and technological innovations in rolling stock, components, equipment and services. More than 300 exhibitors will show the latest mobility solutions on the market.
