Introduction
The European Business and Innovation Centres Network encourages entrepreneurship and innovation amongst small and medium sized enterprises. The EBN conference "Global Innovation Bridges" will discuss the role that Europe can play today as a global actor, and as an accelerator in innovation and small business development.
Description
The conference will address the following issues:
  • rethinking SMEs business model within the global arena
  • bench-marking outside Europe from the US, the Americas and from the rest of the world
  • teaming up public policies and private sector
  • partnering with large corporations for an acceleration of the Lisbon strategy
  • the road map for the future generation of BICs, incubators and innovation centres
  • transatlantic cooperation betweens SMEs in innovation and technology
