Canadian Brownfields 2007: Partners in Sustainable City Building – Montreal, 18-19 October 2007
18-10-2007

Introduction
Canadian Brownfields 2007 is a two-day event featuring plenary sessions, the Canadian Brownfields Network (CBN) marketplace and the presentation of the Canadian Urban Institute Brownie Awards 2007. Canadian Brownfields 2007 brings together industry, public sector, practitioners, elected and appointed representatives, all with the aim of progressing the discussion and advancing your thinking on brownfield development.
Description
Four interlocking themes to spark your interest and advance your ability to remediate, revitalise and regenerate your community:
  • brownfields – a driver of economic revitalisation of whole communities
  • leadership – learning from political champions, community coalitions and private sector visionaries
  • technological innovation - the art, science and application of new remediation solutions to advance sustainability
  • integrated planning – new benchmarks for adding value to the quadruple bottom line.
The CBN Marketplace provides opportunity for delegates to meet and exchange ideas with consultants, economic developers, and industry associations. Exhibits will include the latest remediation innovations, financial tools, solutions and contributions to brownfield reuse. Including round the clock dedicated meeting space and networking to facilitate your deal making opportunities.
