OECD Forum 2008: "Climate Change, Growth, Stability" - Paris, 3-4 June 2008
03-06-2008

Introduction
The OECD Forum is a "multi-stakeholder summit" which brings together business and labour leaders, civil society personalities, government ministers and leaders of international organisations to discuss the hottest issues on the international agenda. It takes place in conjunction with the annual OECD Ministerial Summit.
Description
The title of the 2008 conference in June will be: "Climate Change, Growth, Stability"
Two central questions will be answered during the conference:
  • Climate Change: how to build a solid economic framework for combating climate change beyond Kyoto?
  • Growth and Stability: how to deal with risks following the shocks of financial turmoil, cooling housing markets and higher energy and commodity prices? How should regulators respond to the recent financial turmoil?
To follow the preparations, please visit the Forum website. More information about the conference will be available at the end of November 2007.
