Cabernet 2009 3rd International Conference on Managing Urban Land - Saint Etienne, 13-15 May 2009 13-05-2009 Introduction The 3rd International Conference on Managing Urban Land is being organised by
CABERNET and the Etablissement public foncier de l’Ouest Rhône Alpes (EPORA) in
Saint-Etienne, France. EPORA is a public land management authority, created in
1998 heading brownsite regeneration work in liaison with the local authorities
and planners of the Rhône-Alpes region, namely Saint-Etienne. CABERNET, Europe’s
sustainable brownfield regeneration network, aims to share good practice and the
develop cross-disciplinary shared understanding essential to cost effective,
socially desirable and environmentally benevolent regeneration

Short abstracts (200 words) or suggestions for special sessions should be are
requested by 31 October 2008. The programme committee is
particularly interested in case studies representing best practices that are
transferable to other regions and countries. Short papers/ extended abstracts
will be published.
