FUTURE calls for research proposals on Urban Governance 12-12-2005 The EU-Fellowship Programme Future Urban Research in Europe,
FUTURE, calls for applications in order to encourage young scientists to apply
and to participate in the programme. FUTURE aims at the integration of different
disciplines such as urban planning, political science, urban design, sociology,
management research, architecture, economics, regional planning and other
relevant scientific fields.
FUTURE supports young scientists from all over the world in their research on
the European City and enables them to participate in training programmes on an
annual issue. Main objective of the programme is to support research
competencies, networks and human potentials in order to meet the future
challenges in the cities of Europe. This years issue is ´Urban Governance´. Last
years issue was ´Electronic City´. ´Culture and City´ and ´Ethnically Diverse
City´ are the issues for 2007 and 2008 respectively.
The deadline for application is set for 1 April 2006. For any additional
