EC to launch calls for tender on social exclusion

The European Commission has announced five open calls for tenders on combating social exclusion. A pre-publication notice can be found on the website of the Directorate-General Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities.
The five calls for tender are on the following issues: 
  1. operational definition of over-indebtedness (VT/2006/017); 
  2. quality in and equality of access to healthcare services (VT/2006/016); 
  3. impact assessment of EU minimum standards to promote the integration of people excluded from the labour market (VT/2006/003); 
  4. study on financial services provision and prevention of financial exclusion (VT/2006/002); 
  5. study on poverty and social exclusion in rural areas (VT/2006/001).
