YOUTH Programme – call for proposals
06-06-2006

The European Commission is to support 10 to 15 projects in the framework of the YOUTH programme. Projects must be innovative and show new approaches on how to deal with one of five priority themes. Co-funding of each project will be 100.000 to 300.000 euros per year of activity. Deadline for submitting applications is set for 1 July 2006.
The priority themes are:
  1. cultural diversity and tolerance;
  2. less favoured regions;
  3. Eastern Europe - Caucasus - South East Europe;
  4. innovation in European Citizenship education;
  5. co-operation between local or regional authorities and youth NGOs.
Projects have to involve partner organisations from at least four different countries, must have a strong transnational European component and must involve young people and youth workers in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of activities.
