Eurocities and CEMR move in together
29-03-2007

From the start of April, the Eurocities Brussels Office and the Council of European Municipalities and Regions are based in a new premises. It is officially named "The House of Cities, Municipalities and Regions". Not just Eurocities and CEMR will be housed in the office building, but a whole range of large cities and national associations of local and regional governments from some 20 European countries.
The building is at walking distance from the European Parliament, the Committee of the Regions, and most of the European Commission buildings. The House of Cities is the result of the wish for Eurocities and some of its members to have offices closer to each other, allowing for exchanging information and cooperating on an ongoing basis, while also sharing a number of services. It is also the result of increased cooperation over the past few years between Eurocities and CEMR, and the desire of all parties to further encourage synergies between the two organisations and their members.
The address of the House of Cities is:
1 Square de Meeûs
1000 Brussels
Belgium
