You decide: Who is the world’s best mayor in 2007? 20-03-2007 The World Mayor project is again looking for the most outstanding mayors of
the year. Everyone interest in cities and urban politics is invited to nominate
their choice for the title 'World Mayor 2007'.
The organisers are looking for mayors that:
If you know of such mayors, visit the World Mayor website (see link below)
and enter your pick. You may nominate one, two or three mayors.
The online World Mayor competition takes place over two stages. Between now
and the end of May, the organisers are inviting nominations from across the
world. After the closure of the nomination stage, City Mayors will draw up a
shortlist of fifty finalists who will compete for the 2007 Award. All finalists
will be asked to submit a manifesto, describing their visions for their cities.
