Call for entries for the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage

The “Europa Nostra Awards” are granted annually to identify and promote best practices in the conservation of tangible cultural heritage. Four projects will be presented with an award and a monetary prize of 10,000 euros. Deadline for submitting your project is 15 August 2007. The winners will be announced by Europa Nostra in 2008.

Aim of the Award is:

to stimulate the exchange of knowledge and experience throughout Europe
to enhance public awareness and appreciation of European cultural heritage
to encourage further exemplary initiatives through the power of example

Prizes will be awarded in four categories:

conservation
research
dedicated service by individuals or organisations
education, training and awareness-raising
