Introduction

The Programme defines development conditions, presents directions and tendencies as well as proposals of self-government activities in the field of entrepreneurship development in the city of Pila.

Description

The Entrepreneurship Support and Development Programme for the city of Pila was initiated by the City Council in 1999. The Programme objectives are to diagnose conditions of the entrepreneurship in the city of Pila as well as to describe directions and proposals in the field of entrepreneurship support and competitiveness enhancement. For the programme data on the city fiscal base, number of enterprises and number of employees, change of assets and property of enterprises, financial sources and financial results has been collected. Also an index of trade and service enterprises and production enterprises survey research has been executed. The Programme sets out a number of intermediate goals which will help city to utilise the existing capacity and will ensure existing economic entities and new investors best possible conditions to run their businesses
