The Programme of Entrepreneurship Support and Promotion of Employment is strictly based on the “Development Strategy of the City of Torun”. Assumptions for the elaboration, entitled: “Programme of Entrepreneurship Support and Promotion of Employment for the City of Torun for the years 2004 – 2006” are defined by the City Council’s resolution approving “Rules of Economic Policy in Torun”. Goals defined in the document are consistent with central programmes and European Strategy for Employment. The programme of entrepreneurship support and promotion of employment for the city of Torun has been elaborated in co-operation with employers’ organizations, trade unions, non-government organizations. The programme has a character of a document appointing directions.
