The nearest several years are very important for development of the region. Increase of the region´s competitiveness, improvement of life conditions and assurance of investment-attractively requires to lead planned, systematic and coordinated actions in the whole region.

A base for this actions should be clearly given policy of the state and regional government connected with consistent marking out the long-term and realistic specified development goals, which can assure efficiency and ability to quickly react to changing situations and new social and economic phenomena occurred in Poland and in the world. The most relevant operations should be the ventures aimed to raise the competitiveness of the region and liquidation of development barriers and disproportions.
