The III Employment Plan of Navarra is aimed to consolidate full employment in the region, while improving its quality and also the workers productivity, in order to ensure business competitiveness. The plan, which was agreed with employers and unions, is based on the principles of equality and non-discrimination in the access to employment, the regulation of safety and health conditions and environmental sustainability.

In particular, the Employment Plan contemplates improvements in the professional formation and orientation of unemployed workers, measures for the defense and promotion of small and medium enterprises and subsidies to self-employment and social economy. Besides, the plan intends to improve working conditions by prosecuting fraud in employment contracts, reducing temporality, preventing work-related accidents and promoting the work-life balance.
