The document contains the housing policy aims of the XVIII district of Budapest, to consider the facilities and opportunities.

Description

The Town Hall of the XVIII district accepted its first housing concept in 1997, and it was reviewed in 2003. Accordingly the housing concept presents in all areas the achievements in the last few years and rough in those exercises, that are important about the further development of the XVIII district, such the creation of the seniors definitive housing solutions, supporting those, who getting the first house, the execution the local housing program, and stimulating the housing mobility. The purpose of the housing concept is to substantiate and realize a long-term, qualitative, available and sustainable housing policy in the district. It is need to have a funded local housing situation, a configured supporting system, and to expansion the quality of the homes.

The local priority housing policy aims are:

Towards forwarding the housing mobility and promotion the subsidized flats keepers’ paying morals and inclination, the residuary family renters’ accommodation in properties, where the residence is covered in minimal level.
To establish a twilight home in the area.
To establish the flatlet to the newly weds.
Unblocking the high value and in good area located - particularly the uneconomically maintain and small floor space – flats, and to accommodate the renters to capitalize the valuable properties.
