Housing Associative Observatory - FR
Introduction
Grenoble "Observatoire Associatif du Logement" (OAL - Community Housing Observatory) was created by a network of associations to deepen the knowledge of the destitute they have been welcoming and accommodating for several years.
Description
The Observatoire supports the orientations and the activities of an association network. it prepared an annual report on housing problems concerning the whole department of Isère. OAL also supports the activities of many associations in carrying out social assessments, for the organization and capitalization of 12/14 and the organization of UTPT/SPH’s working parties.
It is part of the departmental widening strategy of UTPT/SPH and in 2002, it prepared an annual report on housing problems concerning the whole department of Isère.
Participants
Association in charge of housing: Hosting and social readaptation centres, organisms for migrant workers’ and young workers’ shelters management, humanitarian and charitable associations, association for tenants protection.
Objectives
This Observatoire can help them to face in a better way situations of intervention and questioning, but it can also show the problems and the obstacles people looking for housing meet with. The Observatoire supports the orientations and the activities of his association network.
