Joint memorandum of social inclusion of Hungary - HU
Introduction
The EC/Hungarian Joint Memorandum on Social Inclusion outlines the principal challenges in relation to tackling poverty and social exclusion, presents the major policy measures taken by Hungary in the light of the agreement to start translating the EU’s common objectives into national policies and identifies the key policy issues for future monitoring and policy review.
Description
The Memorandum describes the Hungarian situation in the following fields:
  • the economic and labour market background
  • the social situation
  • the key challenges
  • measures to facilitate participation in employment and access by all to resources, rights, goods and services
  • measures to promote gender equality in all actions taken against poverty and social exclusion
  • Hungarian statistics of social exclusion
  • support for Hungary social inclusion policies through the structural funds
