The Plan of Public Transport Development has been prepared basing on findings of an analysis of inhabitants’ needs in the scope of public transport accessibility, run in co-operation with the Municipal Transport Enterprise in Gorzow. It is a source of guidelines and it is a collection of the most important objectives to be accomplished in the years to come. In response to citizens’ expectations and needs the Public Transport Development Plan assumes inter alia enlargement and development of tram and bus transport system in the area of the City of Gorzow Wielkopolski. A vital objective is to enlarge and modernize public transport stock and to bring in successive low-slung vehicles in order to enable the aged and disabled people to travel safe and efficient. This document has a crucial meaning in accomplishing assumptions of public transport development in Gorzow Wielkopolski according to guidelines comprised in city strategic documents and recognized in citizens needs in Gorzow and surroundings.
