Introduction

The Document is a base for the implementation of ventures directly connected with the public transport, tasks and projects, which realization will contribute to enhancement of quality and effectiveness of transport.

Description

Integrated Plan of Public Transport Development specifies directions of public transport development in accordance with other city planning documents. It includes prognosis of traffic growth within city driveway. The document characterizes priorities of bus transport improvement and it indicates investment projects and tasks to be realized in the years 2004-2006 as well as at the later date till the year 2015. All kinds of projects and ventures are divided into 4 groups: traffic investments including traffic management, stock investments and carrier technical backup, operating (co-financed from the city budget) and other ventures, e.g. costs of Traffic and Transport Management, expenses on information system and conceptual works. The study includes financial plan in which forms and sources of financing are comprised. The document describes implementation and monitoring systems, evaluation and social communication means.
