The British Council recently launched the European element of its global climate programme: 'Challenge Europe'. This European campaign aims to make an impact on the climate change debate and accelerate change to a Low Carbon future. The project involves a team of 220 young professionals in 15 European countries, so-called Climate Advocates, who are tasked to create new and creative ideas to cut carbon emissions. The British Council will work closely together with various partner organisations from the corporate, non-governmental, environmental and academic sector.
