Masterplan ‘Ban de Gasperich’

Introduction

The master plan summarises already implemented measures in the three districts Gasperich, Cloche d’Or and Howald, evaluates their impacts and provides the basis for further planning steps.

Description

The master plan is an integrative overall plan, but legally without obligation. It shows urbanistic visions that should give direction to future developments and that should be embedded in a local – regional context. It addresses public authorities, potential investors, property owners as well as all other stakeholders involved. The master plan contains objectives concerning concrete constructional implementations and recommendations regarding the planning process:

Integration of landscape architecture;
Integration of different interests;
Avoidance of mono functionality;
Identity through urbanistic regularity;
Integration of new and existing urban structures;
Connection of residential areas with regional green belt- Integration of different means of transport, promotion of sustainable traffic.
