Local Revitalization Programme for the City of Oswiecim for the years 2005-2015
Introduction
The Local Revitalization Programme is a complex document indicating planned revitalisation undertakings in the area of the city of Oswiecim for the years 2005 – 2015.
Description
The Local Revitalization Programme is composed of two parts. The first part – general – refers to the whole city, its present characteristic and development position. It presents justification and the context of the revitalization programme with the background in sub-regional and regional programmes. Is also indicates detailed areas of renewal in chosen parts of the city. The second part – detailed – focuses on the first renewal area where revitalisation undertakings will be initialised and executed. Works on the revitalisation programme were run from two sides: 1) basing on own city’s analysis and studies of the present conditions and diagnosis of the most important needs in the terms of local development; 2). basing on social research in the terms of needs and postulates of the direct participants of the revitalisation process.
