Introduction
Local programme of post-military areas revitalization for the city of Pila.
Description
The programme has been elaborated because of a need of a comprehensive approach to the issue of revitalization as well as setting in order in the long-term programming initiatives of revitalization in post-military areas started and implemented by the Commune of Pila and other entities. The post-military areas have arisen within disposal of military airport and military units including total of 633,5 hectares area. General objective of the Programme is to create conditions to enhance competitiveness of the city of Pila by pointing out activities and means which allow to improve quality of post-military areas development as well as social and economic boost of areas threatened with marginalization.
The time scope of the programme includes years from 2004 to 2013 with two sub-periods: one from 2004 to 2006 and the second from 2007 to 2013. Activities are presented indicating its beneficiaries, amount of financial inputs necessary for their implementation and financing sources.
Present condition diagnosis, SWOT analysis, methodological assumptions and programme implementation system have been presented in the programme. Also anticipated effects of revitalization in the spatial, economic and social areas have been included in the document. Furthermore, monitoring and updating of local revitalization programme have been indicated.
