The Programme has been developed in the scope of the international project “The Use of Inland Water Ways for Regional Development – In Water” co-finananced with Community’s INTERREG IIIB funds – Baltic Sea Region. The program is a uniform, consistent and interdisciplinary elaboration prepared for the whole city of Bydgoszcz where particular attention has been paid to Bydgoszcz’s Water Interchange located along the international water route E-70. In the Programme, a detailed inventory of the area has been included, the rules and directions of the development of Bydgoszcz’s Water Interchange as well as development of the coasts have been defined. In the elaboration, attention has been drawn to the necessity of adapting existing devices and construction of new ones for the purpose of water tourism, water transport and rules with regards to the way Bydgoszcz’s Water Interchange would have to be promoted have been suggested. The Revitalization and Development of the Water Interchange of Bydgoszcz is a universal document assuring the right way of planning investments.
