In the Local Revitalization Programme of Urban Areas of the City of Elblag the analysis of the present state and the analysis of preconditions accompanying the revitalisation process have been widely presented. The functional and spatial structure has been evaluated. Social preconditions, issues concerning social infrastructure and the legal status of land have been analysed. In the document preconditions resulting from the existing transport system and connected with functioning of the local economy have been presented. The elaboration indicates relations among the Revitalisation Programme and strategic documents. The document includes the characteristic of problematic areas. In the Local Revitalisation Programme activities planned for undertaking on the revitalized area in the year 2006 and in the years 2007 – 2013 together with the financial plan have been enumerated. More over, in the elaboration the implementation mode of the Local Revitalization Programme of Urban Areas and ways of its monitoring, evaluation and social communication have been presented.
