Despite early successes in its programme of regeneration Rosebud had begun to lose track of its contractual obligations. There was confusion in the governance structure and membership of the groups as well as obscure responsibilities and overlapping services. A mid-term review highlighted these issues and pointed to the need for regrouping.

Rosebud SRB, a partnership of voluntary and statutory agencies, was created to guide regeneration efforts in: Ludlow and Craven Arms, beginning with the Sandpits Estate in Ludlow, Shropshire.

Early successes were followed by a period of confusion and duplication in the partnership structure. A series of meetings to clarify matters resulted in an effective regrouping enabling Rosebud SRB to get back on track.

A series of meetings were held with Board members and project leaders to clarify roles and responsibilities, review funding requirements and set realistic targets for output delivery. An air of clarity, enthusiasm, motivation and determination was felt throughout Rosebud and giving the programme a new lease of life.

Since restructuring, Rosebud SRB continues to meet or exceeded all of their annual targets. The programme has also become a highly regarded and valued member of local regeneration partnerships, seen as an organisation that is able to run a successful programme while meeting the needs and fulfilling the wishes of the community.
