Report from the ONPES (National observatory on poverty and social exclusion), 2005-2006 - FR

Introduction
This fourth report presents a certain number of significant data on situations of poverty and social exclusion: indicators and statistics, plus analyses and studies on access to basic rights for people suffering from poverty.
Description
The ONPES has been analysing the development of monetary poverty since 2001, focusing on today’s employment market and the decrease in the number of contracts in a context of persistent, if not exacerbated, poverty.
A significant collection of projects that assembles, updates and comments on available data on poverty is provided with the report. The various aspects of poverty are reviewed, as are local anti-poverty policies. Lastly, the Observatory emphasizes the forms of poverty in the overseas departments via six position papers.
