Wireless & Digital Cities 2008 - Barcelona, 11-13 November 2008 11-11-2008 Introduction The third annual European Congress for Wireless and Digital Cities will take
place in Barcelona, Spain this year. The conference provides a meeting point for
the municipal wireless and digital government communities. It is an event for
policy-makers, department heads, decision makers and senior representatives who
are planning, evaluating or deploying wireless technology and who wish to gain
key insights into how cities across the world are tackling the opportunities and
challenges of municipal broadband.

local authorities realise that wireless solutions can deliver more
cost-effective council services and yield significant cost savings.
