Introduction

The Action Plan 2005-2007 specifies the activities related to the Strategy for Energy Saving and Efficiency 2004-2012.

Description

The Action Plan 2005-2007 inventories and specifies the activities that should be developed in the short to medium term in each sector, in the framework of the Spanish Strategy for Energy Saving and Efficiency 2004-2012.

The action plan defines four objectives:

Specify the measures and instruments needed to launch of the Strategy in each sector.
Define the lines of responsibility and collaboration between the organisms involved in its development, in particular national, regional and local administrations.
Establish the plan for the development of the measures, identifying for each one the sources of financing, the budget needs, the actions which have priority and the schedule.
Evaluate the energy saving involved, the costs and the CO2 emissions avoided with each measure and the Plan as a whole.
