Introduction

The International Union of Tenants hosts its annual day on October 6th in the European Parliament in Brussels.

Description

On the occasion of the International Tenants Day 2008 future policies to guarantee affordable rental housing in the European cities will be discussed. Members of the European Parliament, representatives of the EU-commission, the European Housing Forum, scientists and the leaders of the European Tenants Unions will give their input as well as the tenants themselves. Key-note speaker is Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, President of the Party of European Socialists.
