Introduction
Provides assistance to housing organisations seeking to engage with tenants by setting out a series of checklists for tenant participation, practical advice and good practice briefings
Description
Provides information on strategies and levels of tenant participation, monitoring and evaluation, resources, training and support for staff and tenants. Advises on engaging with ethnic minorities, tenants in rural areas, groups of tenants, and individuals. Discusses practical techniques to promote and improve the process of tenant participation. Includes six case studies demonstrating different approaches that landlords and tenants have taken to improve and support tenant participation.
