Greets Green Partnership were faced with implementing an ambitious plan for the redevelopment of housing in Greets Green and realised that they would need to bring other agencies on board in order to achieve it.

Greets Green Partnership, working alongside area residents, developed a programme to upgrade all housing in Greets Green as well as develop new units. An ambitious and far-reaching plan, the Partnership was unable to go it alone. They approached Sandwell MBC, Urban Living, and Sandwell Homes about creating a team to tackle the regeneration project and the Greets Green Housing Partnership was born.

A partnership was initiated by Greets Green Partnership comprising Sandwell MBC, Urban Living and Sandwell Homes. The members have a unified vision of the programme objectives allowing them to provide support and expert advice to the programme at short notice.

Specialist teams have been created, such as a Housing Communications Group, to focus on the various aspects of the programme. Members continue to work closely with local residents to ensure community needs are met.

Continuous communication and feedback between the Housing Partnership, the organisations involved and the local community has created an atmosphere of trust and cooperation not often found in large projects.
